Chicago has been quietly putting out some of Hip-Hop’s hottest new talent. G Herbo is one of those rappers that have been in the mix for the past few years.
Since collaborating with Nicki Minaj the East Side of Chicago native has been making noise and gathering followers so to many his appearance today on The Breakfast Club is long overdue.
Speaking with the morning trio of Charlamagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee, G speaks on why he feels the homicide rate in Chicago is constantly breaking records, helping the Cubs break the curse of the goat, and hanging up on Nicki Minaj when she called his manager up for a collaboration.

3. Peace In The Mid-East
According to him Chicago rappers all keep it peace with each other.
4. Violence In Chicago
He feels the abundance of violence in Chicago is due to lack of inner city programs to keep youth off the streets.
5. Nicki Minaj
When Nicki Minaj was calling him for a collaboration his manager kept hanging up on her peoples not knowing it was actually her.
6. Lil Bibby
G credits Lil Bibby with putting him in his first official studio session.
7. Product Of His Environment
Growing up G admits that he didn’t want to have to be packing pistols but knew he had to adapt to his environment or die.
8. Street Credit Karma
Herbo said he was never into robbing heads, just hustling to make that dough. This is mostly do to his belief in karma.
9. Rock No Vote
G Herbo says he’s not voting for either Hillary or Donald because he doesn’t believe either candidate will do anything to help the inner cities of Chicago.
10. Spread The Positivity
G Herbo actually gives his number to his fans so they can facetime with him so he can help encourage them to do good in life.
