Former American Idol contestant Bo Bice is traumatized after being called a “white boy” by a Popeye’s employee in Atlanta.
All Bo Bice wanted was his 2-piece spicy with a biscuit. But he was subject to being ridiculed for his skin color.
Earlier this week Bice was patiently waiting for his order at the Popeye’s located inside of Atlanta‘s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. But there was some confusion among the staff as to whether or not his order was ready. One employee thought that he already had his order, while another did not. The confusion arose because he order had been rang up twice. Nevertheless, Bice continued to wait as they sorted things out. But, he overheard the employees discussing the ordeal and he was shocked with what he heard.
One of the employees called him “that White boy right there.”
Hurt by what he heard, Bice asked for an apology on the spot. He did not get one. He then wrote Popeye’s corporate offices. No reply. It wasn’t until he shared this devastating encounter on social media that he got some traction.
Eventually, Bice told his story to Atlanta’s Fox 5. Warning, the video is disturbing.
