Meek Mill performed for a sold out crowd in his hometown Philadelphia, proving that despite being clowned on social media, he still has real life supporters.
His “Meek Mill and Friends” concert was a testament to how many people still rock with Meek, as well as a statement to his haters. In selling out the 20,000-plus seat Wells Fargo Center, Meek showed that even with the world against him at times, he still has his own backyard on lock.
“I like to shine real hard,” Meek said while addressing the crowd in between songs. “So I be having a lot of n*ggas hating real hard on me so I need to see my city like this some motherf*cking time.”

While Meek proved that he could hold it down alone, it didn’t hurt that he had a star-studded list of guests to back him up. Among them were T.I., the man who introduced him to a national audience, and Rick Ross the man who signed him and helped make him a star.
He also brought out DMX.
The show was about Meek, but at moments he did have time for others. The Philadelphia Inquire reports that one instance was when he asked the crowd what they thought of President Trump, to which they replied with boos and middle fingers. It was then that Meek brough out Nipsey Hussle and YG to perform “FDT.”
Meek also reportedly touched on his current relationship status and his most famous rival. While he didn’t name drop Nicki Minaj or Drake, he did let it be known that he is single, it’s still “f*ck these b*tches” and that Tory Lanez is the realest artist out of Toronto.
Other guest throughout the night included PNB Rock, Jadakiss and Yo Gotti, but the highlight of the night was when he brought out beloved and currently injured, Sixers player Joel Embiid to dance shirtless.
