The 2017 Oscars red carpet was lit with Black Excellence. We’re not even going to clown Halle Berry, too much.
However, let’s keep in mind that despite Obama being an excellent Black president, the majority of the nation…well actually, the electoral college went the polar opposite. Which means the Oscars will probably be lily white next year.
But for now, let’s relish in the Black Excellence. Also, Denzel Washington should have won, again. But at least Mahershala Ali and Viola Davis got their Oscars.
