Shea Moisture is going to learn today. The brand is getting furiously dragged for a tone-deaf ad that many are expressing as another example of whitewashing in advertising.
The offending ad features a curly-haired woman of color talking about how Shea Moisture helped her and blah blah blah. But what has Twitter in a row are the white girls also being dismayed at the “hair hate” featured in the same spot.
