Kevin Durant Said Kyrie Irving Is Better Than Allen Iverson, Twitter Attacks

Kevin Durant is now an NBA champion and one of the league’s elite players. However, his assessment of player rankings is looking hella suspect.
KD recently said that Kyrie Irving is better than NBA Hall of Famer Allen Iverson.
“Kyrie is better than AI to me. I’m going from like skill for skill. His handle is better,” said KD on The Bill Simmons Podcast.”
To be fair, even KD noted that his viewpoint would cause drama.
He added, “We might have to cut that out—I don’t want no problems with AI. Y’all might have to cut that one. I don’t want that to get out. I’m just saying I feel like Kyrie got more skill.”

In fact, the entire convo featured a nuanced take on the otherworldly skills of both players. But Twitter definitely felt a ways about Bubba Chuck’s talents getting slighted.
