Pharrell Williams & Stan Smith Unveil adidas Tennis Hu Icons Collection [Photos]

The ageless Pharrell Williams teams with the OG Stan Smith to unveil the former’s Tennis Hu Icons collection. The gear is the latest collab between Pha-real and adidas Originals.

The pack features Pharrell’s signature Tennis Hu model and the Stan Smith model in an assortment of pastel colors.

The iconic Stan Smith speaks for itself—originalyl released in 1971, it’s constantly been a go-to shoe for sneaker aficionados and caught a resurgence when adidas Originals relaunched it in 2014.

The Tennis Hu is Pharrell’s first proper adidas signature sneaker and takes inspiration from a court shoe but features the “proportions” of a runner. Featuring a sock-like design and construction, the Tennis Hu will be available in Tactile Rose, Icey Blue and Linen Green as well as white colorways. There will be complimentary colorways (both tonal and with the classic white and color accent), and a full grain leather upper, for the Stan Smith model in the pack.

Accompanying the release of the kicks, on August 10, is a campaign featuring Pharrell and Stan Smith and spotlighting they’re quirky creativity.
