Pharrell Williams has involved himself in several business ventures but related to and outside of his noted realm of music. Skateboard P has inserted himself into both worlds once more after he was named as Chief Creative Officer for music technology company, ROLI.
Williams, 44, will help ROLI in its ongoing quest to create new innovations marrying digital technology and musical instruments, in the same vein as the company’s flagship and piano-like Seaboard instrument that got endorsement support from the legendary Stevie Wonder. Williams is investing in ROLI and is also a co-owner of the company, with the Virgina producer rolling out the free “Happy By Pharrell” studiopack in ROLI’s NOISE app.
The app works on both ROLI instruments and smart devices, giving users access to the sounds and music that created Pharrell’s “Happy” megahit.
Check out Pharrell Williams’ studiopack in action below. Hit the flip for some images as well.
