Phonte To Release Solo Album, 9th Wonder To Produce Bulk Of Material
Phonte, formerly of Little Brother recently reunited with producer 9th Wonder and set aside their differences. Now in an interview with theurbandaily.com, he confirmed he’s dropping a solo album primarily produced by 9th.
“I’ma pretty much sit down now and hash it out…If my record is like Amplified, just as an example, [9th Wonder] would be my J. Dilla,” explain Phonte.
The September 13th date is coincidentally the six-year anniversary of Little Brother’s The Minstrel Show.
