On this day (Nov. 14) in 1964, Joseph Ward Simmons was born in the borough of Queens, New York, and the world has never been the same since.
As you may or may not know, the long awaited Tupac Shakur biopic is set to begin shooting spring 2014, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. But there’s one problem: the leading actor role has yet to be cast.

The NBA and adidas have teamed to unveil “BIG Logo” uniforms that its players will be wearing on the court during this year’s Christmas Day games. The jerseys are part of the “BIG Logo” Holiday Collection and are short-sleeve and feature reflective, oversized team logos on the chest.

Trinidad James recently informed the world that “the south runs New York musically.” Accordingly, the rant drew a lot of heat from Maino (who threatened to take Jame$ to a dentist), Smoke DZA and others. The struggle rapper has since responded with “L.I.A.A.R.S.”, which has fueled more conversation about the regionalism in Hip-Hop.
Fans of 90’s and 2000’s rap albums receive a treat just in time for Christmas season courtesy of clothing brand Coke Magic. The release is comprised of a whopping 40 t-shirts that don the artwork from a bevy of noteworthy albums.
