Dreamville is having an incredible year and fans of the collective and label, including its fearless leader J. Cole, have something to rejoice over once again. The well-attended and acclaimed Dreamville Festival will be returning in 2020 for its second annual event in the Tar Heel State.

J. Cole has mastered the art of the album rollout, as evidenced by the clever way the Dreamville compilation project was put together. During a set in Las Vegas, the North Carolina star used a savvy video to announce the follow-up to his acclaimed KOD album.

J. Cole is being kind of dramatic. The North Carolina rapper says his recent guest verse on a new Gang Starr record will be his last, at least for a while.

We’re about 48 hours away from finally reveling in the material that’s going to be provided in the highly anticipated collaboration album Revenge Of The Dreamers III, but to get things officially rolling J. Cole dropped documentary which takes viewers behind the scenes during the making of the project.


It’s been almost seven months since J. Cole and company announced that they were working on a Revenge of The Dreamers III project and though the initial target release date was this past April (that obviously didn’t happen), Cole has now revealed when the collaboration album will indeed finally drop.

J. Cole and his Dreamville Records collective long ago shared footage and photos of them hard at work on the upcoming collaborative project, Revenge Of The Dreamers III. On Wednesday (June 26), the North Carolina star shared a trailer of a documentary that captured the sessions leading up to the compilation album.

Although the warmer months spell festival season for much of North America, this fall will get some of that action as well. It was just announced that Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Travis Scott will headline the three-day Day N Vegas music festival in November.


Whether you know it or not we’re living in historic times as we’re reminded daily that racism and homophobia isn’t just alive and well in 2019, but running rampant and basically thriving thanks to, well, y’all already know.


Just yesterday Drake made his fans week when he confirmed that he was back in the studio crafting his next chart topping project and if that wasn’t exciting enough for them he’s now teasing that he and J. Cole might be laying down some new material down sooner than later.
