Feast your ears on another compilation of audible philanthropy via The Wrap Up. This installment of the weekly series arrives a few days late due to yesterday’s Summer Jam festivities, but the quality of these tracks should make up for our tardiness.

Memorial Day weekend is the time when most people kick back and enjoy cookouts, block parties, and other communal excursions. Rappers, on the other hand, do things a bit differently. This year, some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop flocked to three cities in particular for their celebratory festivities: New York City, Las Vegas, and Miami.

J.Cole revealed in a radio interview yesterday (May 23) that he’s tapped the ladies of TLC to drop vocals on his forthcoming sophomore album, Born Sinner. The Roc Nation rapper dropped the bombshell that his new prioject will feature no other rappers.

Although Roc Nation artist J. Cole featured crooner Miguel on his new “Power Trip” single, the North Carolina native flexed his vocal chords a bit for the track as well. Cole speaks on his new love of singing, and talks up competing with “white people” at the Grammy Awards in a recent radio interview.
