Will Smith And Idris Elba Want To Play Slave In Quentin Tarantino Film
Will Smith and Idris Elba are said to be battling it out for a controversial role in a new Quentin Tarantino film.
As previously reported, Big Willie was said to be up to star Quentin Tarantino's Western film Django Unchained.
Now Idris Elba's been subliminally mentioning that he's up for the same part, “a freed slave who seeks to reunite with his slave wife and take down an evil plantation owner.”
According to the NY Daily News, Elba's vying for the role and took to Twitter to write,
"Having one of the biggest meetings of my professional life today, meeting a very controversial director for a very controversial part."
And when followers speculated it was the role in “Django Unchained”, he neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
“I wish I could tell you more but...in due time... On the plane to the destination of my fate... ok... a lil dramatic... destination of my life."
Will Smith is currently filming Men In Black III in New York City.
