Lil Mama Interview With The Breakfast Club

Rapper and America's Best Dance Crew host Lil Mama must not have known what she was getting herself into when she agreed to be interviewed by Power 105.1 FM's Breakfast Club morning show.

While defending her music, career, looks and belief that Nicki Minaj stole her style, things got emotional for the 21-year-old entertainer.

"When I was 17-years-old I put out an album while my mother was dying of cancer," said a teary eyed Lil Mama.

"That right there alone is a struggle. That's hard. That's tough for anybody.

"But my music will speak for itself. My actions will speak for itself. My mother will be proud. My father will be proud at the end of the day. And nobody can stop me. Period"

Watch the 20 minute, emotional interview below.

Things get real around the 19:20 mark.

Lil Mama, Charlemagne is a jerk. He is one of the many people who claim to support you but simply try to tear you down. I am so proud that you continue to hold your own and do what's best for you. You will have a career no matter if it's music, tv, dance or a simple 9-5. Just remember the devil is real, he is out to destroy anyone who is happy. It's unfortunate that you had to sit next to one of his advocates for more than 20 minutes. Don't waste your time on a show like that again.
