The genuinely iconic Nike Air Force 1 gets fitted with some luxury detailing for its 30th anniversary. Just a few years ago it seemed like new Air Force 1 colorways were dropping every other day, and the model lost some its luster, pushed to the side by the popularity Foamposites and Jordans. But a choice colorway of Uptowns is always a win and the Air Force 1 X-X Pearl Collection is clearly about quality over quantity. [Note: the name incorporates three “X’s,” but this isn’t a Adult Videos site.]
Three models are in the collection. The hi-top Air Force 1 Lux MX Air ‘08 has a full-length visible Air Max unit and features “Mother of Pearl-inspired” reflectivity throughout the upper as well as Vac-Tech construction. The second is a low top flipped with a black denim upper (and midsole), an icy outsole and premium leather accents. The third and last is another low top with an all white reflective upper and a see through, milky-white midsole.
The collection launches March 3 and will come packaged in some fresh boxes, too.
