As Olympic swimmer Lia Neal prepares to attend the 2012 London games, the teen can rest assured that she has Brooklyn in her corner. Twelve Bar Co. is celebrating the high school student’s achievement by releasing t-shirts, donning the words “Swim Brooklyn!” in her honor.

The company partnered with the USA Swimming Foundation for the products, which feature a photo of the Brooklyn Bridge.

All proceeds from the sale of the items, which can be purchased here, will go directory to the foundation.  Established in 2004, the organization’s mission is to “strengthen the sport by saving lives and building champions,” by providing learn-to-swim skills, and offering financial support to members of the U.S. National Team.

Neal landed a spot on the swim team in late June, after finishing fourth in the 100-meter freestyle finals, making her only the second Black female to do so.

She is one of many teens who will head across the pond for the sporting competition, and is the same age as Michigan’s own, Claressa “T-Rex” Shields who will compete on the women’s boxing team.

The real question is will Jay offer her free tickets to one of his concerts at the Barclays Center. She deserves it.
