Snoop Dogg… Ahem, Snoop Lion drops a video for “Knocc ‘Em Down,” which is a cut off of the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 video game’s soundtrack. Actually, this song features the Doggfather dropping straight forward rhymes mostly about his skills on the sticks with no faux patois in sight. So it’s more Dogg than Lion, at least until the tail end of the tune.
It’s a safe bet this track will also appear on Snoop’s forthcoming Reincarnated album, which is a collaboration with Diplo. You can take a listen to the project’s first single, “La La La,” right here. There is even a documentary documenting Snoop’s artistic, and surely ganja filled, journey to Jamaica to record the album.
