Instead they remain on opposite sides of the political sector, with both parties accusing the other of being non-cooperative. President Obama has said that Republican opposition in Congress has hindered his ability to do his job.
Community leaders and ex-gang members alike have tried to bring peace between rival gangs, but it just doesn’t work.
