John Legend drops a new record called “Who Wo We Think We Are,” featuring Rick Ross. The tune serves as the official lead single from the G.O.O.D. Music crooner’s forthcoming album, Love In The Future.
The soul drenched song is a slow groover that also flips a “Mr. Big Stuff” (Jean Knight) sample. “See my jewels dripping on my Timerlands, stepping like a criminal, success is so imminent/Pink champagne, black Rolls Royce, eggplant double breasted suit from Tom Ford/Bon voyage left haters in the fog, look up in the sky bet you recognize a bawse,” spits Rozay. Recently, news broke that the “Magnificent” rapper was armed when he was the victim of an attempted drive by.
Last week, Legend gave a taste of the album—word is the Kanye West will be co-executive producing—with a song called “The Beginning.” On a side note, Legend’s fiancée, Chrissy Teigen, posted a nude photo of herself online to celebrate 200K Twitter followers. Will a song about that make it onto the album?
