Yo! MTV Raps defined a generation and provided a daily platform for Hip-Hop that was devoid at the time. Twenty-five years later, California-based streetwear brand Stussy commemorates the legendary program with a long overdue capsule collection.
This drop is comprised of ten t-shirts available in two colorways. Each piece dons an iconic photo of a prolific rapper from that era. Gang Starr, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Brand Nubian, Digital Underground, Eric B & Rakim, Slick Rick, Ice T, MC Lyte, and Queen Latifah are all accounted for here.
The Yo! MTV Raps collection will be available today, August 10, at 12 PM PST at Stussy’s brick-and-mortar locations and their e-commerce site. That’s western time for our east coasters.
Get a hint of nostalgia by checking out the 25th anniversary collab after the jump.
