Chris Rock isn’t nervous about social topics in the new issue of New York magazine. Even though he’s technically promoting his new movie, Top Five, the 49-year-old comedian doesn’t just talk film stuff in the interview.
Rock gives his blunt opinion on race relations, Bill Cosby (he’s hoping that the rape allegations aren’t true), politics, and a bunch more. We highlighted 10 jewels that stood out.

Hilarious.

Good to know.
“My children saved me from my miserable self.”
The joys of parenthood never sounded so candid.
“I’d do a special on race, but I’d have no black people.”

Absolutely.

Accurate.

Interesting theory.

Timbaland might beg to differ.
“There are no race relations. White people were crazy. Now they’re not as crazy.”
That’s one way to put it.
