D’Angelo Drops Funky New Single “Sugah Daddy”
Fourteen years after releasing Voodoo, D’Angelo drops a new track called “Sugah Daddy,” and it’s damn funky.
Led by a bluesy riff (courtesy of his band The Vanguard), the track will be appearing on the enigmatic crooner and bandleader’s new project, Black Messiah, which is reportedly out before the year is up. Actually, D’Angleo devotees will recognized the song since he first performed it on tour in 2012.
The song arrives via Redbull’s 20 Before 15 series. Is D’Angelo finally back, for real?
