Young Thug must have some nerve. In fact, it may be the same nerve that Lil Wayne had when he was around the kooky Atlanta rapper’s age.
In 2002, Lil Wayne went out of his way to spite the deflected Juvenile by naming his album 500 Degreez. In retrospective, it wasn’t even a quarter of the classic as Juvenile’s breakout effort 400 Degreez (in all actuality, it was actually pretty lousy) but the message was heard loud and clear.
It appears that Young Thugga is looking to fully take Wayne’s place at Birdman’s side and make his “lover” happy with his new album announcement.

During a Instagram video posting earlier today, Thugga previewed some new incoherent tunes and captioned it with “#CARTER 6 OTW” As in his Carter 6 upping Lil Wayne’s iced Carter V album. Uh oh.
Perhaps the scariest aspect of this new revelation is Birdman has plenty of reasons to greenlight the project. Earlier in the week, Lil Wayne finally directly dissed his former BFF while surrounded by his Young Money cohorts.
Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be a resolution in sight. Especially with Young Thug’s Carter 6 right around the corner. Another audacious video can be found on the flip.
