Jojo shot a video over the weekend for her song “Andre,” a song which was inspired by none other than Andre 3000 of Outkast.
The song was featured on her free mixtape, Agape, which she released on her 22nd birthday.
“Andre’s style is something that I love. I just think the sexiest thing is when a man is himself and does his own thing, and there’s a really great example of that in André Benjamin,” she told Rap-Up in a recent sit-down.
She shot the video on a rooftop overlooking L.A. in The Hive Gallery and was joined by Epic Records singer, Leah LaBelle. “Thank you to everyone who dedicated their time to helping #ANDRE come to life,” tweeted JoJo. “I am beyond appreciative and I can’t wait to see the final result.”
We can only anticipate an open letter from Andre 3000 to his fans thoroughly explaining that he has nothing to do with this song. You know, just so he doesn’t confuse his fans. Too soon?
If you haven’t heard the song “Andre” you can check it out down below. After that, hit the jump to check out the photos from the shoots after the jump.
