Chief Keef, released from incarceration just two weeks ago for good behavior, will make his not-so-triumphant return to Cook County jail after a court appearance today. No, this is not a joke.
As reported by Chicago Sun-Times, Keef appeared before a judge at 1:30 pm today because of a traffic charge. Soon after, the rapper born Keith Cozart posted a photo on Instagram that’s captioned, “In court Finna go to Jail Judge Wants to send me,” with matching emojis to boot.
At the moment, it’s unclear why Keef was detained, but the fact of the matter is that he’s looks to have violated his probation for whatever reason and is heading back to the big house.
In October, Keef was sentenced to 20 days after testing positive for marijuana. And this follows an array of arrests in 2013 alone.
Come on, bro.
Here’s to hoping Chief Keef will get his act together. More information is forthcoming. See the aforementioned Instagram message on the following page.
