Childish Gambino rode the wave created by his Because The Internet LP steadily into the new year, as he continues to bear the fruits of his labor. His latest success comes in the form of the cover of Complex magazine’s February/March issue.
The tagline is “On The Edge.” To match that, the rapper, born Donald Glover, can be seen literally sitting on the edge of a building. The sentiments of both the tagline and imagery can be felt in the the accompanying piece, which is very emotionally candid.
At one point, Bino says “I look at success like solving a problem.” He continued, “I haven’t figured out humanity or whatever I’m searching for yet.” He also rhymes honestly about these topics on Because The The Internet, available via iTunes now.
