Last night, the Beats By Dre brand celebrated a huge week, as the company launched Beats Music — a new innovation in music streaming. The Belasco Theater in Los Angeles hosted the party, which had a long list of special guests.
Beats Music bigwigs Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre, Trent Reznor, and Ian Rogers curated a special 90’s playlist that was brought to life during live performances by some of the decade’s biggest acts.
Performers included Diddy and Ma$e, Ice Cube, Nas, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Redman and Method Man, Cypress Hill, Geto Boys, Busta Rhymes, Blackstreet, Souls of Mischief and Pharcyde. Dre himself closed out the show with a special appearance by Eminem.
There was also a secret list of guests, including Paul McCartney, Drake, Paris Hilton, Macklemore, Selena Gomez, Zoe Kravitz, Nicole Scherzinger, Queen Latifah, Benji Madden, Travis Barker, Austin Mahone and more. And did we mention that DJ Jazzy Jeff was on the ones and twos the entire night?
