Paramount and Michael Bay’s upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is finally being rolled out on their own accord opposed to the unauthorized leaking of pictures.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer was finally released today, racking up more than two million views in a few hours.
You would think that this would be a joyous occasion for Cowabunga fans worldwide but these Internets have a way throwing slander and the smallest tpyo. There was no country for alien life form turtles nor Michael Bay’s vision of how he felt they should be updated in 2014.
Many fans were royally pissed that the :90 second clip mirrored Bay’s Transformers franchise and questioned his aptitude as a competent filmmaker. Bay isn’t even directing the film; Jonathan Liebesman is but, with notoriety comes great responsibility.
CNET’s Luke Westaway even shaded the trailer’s dialogue saying, “Horrible writing in the Turtles trailer. “Crime, fear and violence have run rampant. #serious #rampant #RAMPANT.” Pure comedy.
Proceed on through the gallery to see some of the most venomous and hilarious reactions to the TMNT trailer. Some could say they are nitpicking but the Turtles is a billion dollar kid’s dream. It has to done right or else…this.
