50 Cent is at a very interesting point in his career. He recently broke away from his ten year partnership with Eminem, his G-Unit crew no longer seems united and is testing the waters of going the independent route for the first time. Fif’ spoke about this and more in an depth interview with The Breakfast Club.
While opinions on his most recent music might vary, one thing that has remained consistent is his brutal honesty. Throughout the years 50 has never been known to bite his tongue, things were no different during this lengthy sit down.
DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God addressed a bevy of issues, hot topics, rumors and beefs throughout the hour long interview. This includes the Tony Yayo tweets, Diddy, Ross and more.
So we present the 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club 50 Cent interview. Let us know which surprised you the most in the comments section.

Diddy
Even though he slandered Diddy in a very suspicious Instagram posting a couple of weeks ago, 50 says he is cool with Puffy. He also said he took the photo down as he needs to change his image.
Beef To Hype Up Albums
50 Cent denied going at other artists to create a buzz for his upcoming projects. He claims he is either practicing self defense or considers a friend of his enemy his enemy too.
Flying With Ja
50 didn’t blink when he was on the same flight as Ja Rule. He considered that any criminal mischief on an airplane is a federal offense so therefore no beef ensued.
Rick Ross
50 felt the need to go the Pimp Curly route during the height of the Rick Ross beef because he doesn’t know how to threaten law enforcement with no severe repercussions .
G-Unit
50 attributes money as the root of the problems with Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. He wished that the two rappers would have advanced artistically to Kanye West levels. Since that did not happen, 50 had to pay them their market value which isn’t much nowadays.
Sha Money XL
He also mentioned that his distancing from former G Unit Records president Sha Money XL even before the release of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. Once the money started coming in Sha started asking to be paid for every service provided, including studio time, as before the relationship was based more on a mutual partnership.
Dresses
50 doesn’t cosign rappers wearing dresses not one bit. He applauds Young Thug for actually admitting that he was wearing a dress versus other MC’s that claim they are wearing a long shirt or kilt.
Jimmy Iovine
His relationship with Interscope Records founder Jimmy Iovine is now strained. 50 points to Jimmy’s investment into Beats By Dre as a big conflict of interest where all Interscope projects would have some tie to the electronics company. With 50’s SMS brand being a direct competitor, things naturally went sour. It also didn’t help Fif said “Ni–as think Jimmy Iovine’s my boss, ni–a f— Jimmy Iovine!” on “Southside.”
Divide & Conquer
As we all know once 50 blew up on Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, he isolated himself and his crew from other New York rappers. He takes it back when he got shot nine times as his reasoning as no one in the industry would even get close to him after that ordeal. Therefore the shade thrown when he running New York.
Domestic Violence
50 clears up the rumor that he assaulted the mother of his second child Daphne Narvarez. He asserts that while he did break up some of the property, which was paid by him, they labeled it a domestic violence because he did not live in the house. He went on to take a plea deal to avoid any jail time.
