While Swizz Beatz is primarily known for his music talents, he is proving to be one hell of a businessman. He talks about his transition back to college and more with The Breakfast Club.

If you weren’t in the know, Swizz’s name has been ringing many bells on the corporate and community level. A street in the Bronx was named after him, the Reebok brand continues to bubble and he is currently attending Harvard Business School’s famed Owner’s Program.

DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God caught up with the producer to discuss these developments, his wife Alicia Keys and more. So we present the top 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Swizz Beatz interview.

Harvard

Swizz admits it has been a humbling experience living in a dorm while attending Harvard. Thankfully the courses have opened his mind to take his business model to bigger heights. Stay tuned.

Alicia

He also let the crew know that Alicia Keys’ forthcoming album will be stellar and that she is not too uptight to visit The Breakfast Club.

Melo & La La

Swizz helped La La Anthony choose the Corvette Stingray she gifted Carmelo for his most recent birthday celebration.

DM’s

The only reason why Swizz addressed the whole trainer fiasco was because he kept silent on a lot of scandals because of his children. He decided to step up with the truth as the media sometimes gets away with too much when in all actuality the original inquiry was a gesture born out of love.

Mashonda

His ex wife Mashonda just happened to be in St Barths when Swizz and Alicia were vacationing. Mashonda wanted to see her son and that’s how that picture came about. Cheers to them for coming together for the children.

Meek

Out of all the new talent out there, Swizz feels Meek is the right representation of what rappers are supposed to be doing in terms of energy, concepts, bars, stories and more.

Darkman X

Even though DMX has been swimming up a struggle stream for the last couple of years, Swizz is confident he can come back for the streets with the right record.

Gordon Parks

Swizz is also working on an exhibit featuring the never before seen Gordon Parks photos of Muhammad Ali.

Reebok

While he didn’t take full responsibility, he did play some part in restoring Rick Ross’ deal with Reebok.

Cross Fit

Even though a now slimmer Rick Ross swears by Cross Fit training, Swizz tried it at a Reebok corporate outing and he was hurting for two weeks.
