G.O.O.D. Music’s own CyHi The Prynce started the year out strong with his Black Hystori Project mixtape, which released back in February. But with summer in full affect, the wordsmith refuels a standout track, “Huey,” with some new verses from Slaughterhouse’s Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9″.
Now a competitive stage, the trio of MCs trade verses that range in dexterity, but each are well suited for the sample heavy instrumental. Royce leads the charge with lines like, “Karma catches everybody like the chicken pox/I’ll have ni**as wishing they could just switch and get the shots.”
