In June, a CIA Twitter account made its debut to a humorous reception. Recently the verified handle (@CIA) made a mention to Tupac Shakur.
On their one-month Twitterversary, the normally clandenstine agency took to social media to answer five common questions from their followers. “Thanks for making our first month on @Twitter great! Today we take 10 mins to answer 5 of the top questions you’ve asked. #twitterversary“.
In one of their replies the account denied knowing where Tupac currently resides at alluding to the comical rumor that the late great rapper is still alive: “No, we don’t know where Tupac is. #twitterversary“. Also included in this humorous round of Q&A was a denial of having access to passwords, a reminder that they are indeed hiring, their choice of air travel and an invite to Ellen DeGeneres to come over to the offices for a selfie shot.
Of course these responses prompted several reactions and retweets. You can view their tweets and some of the best exchanges in the following pages.
