The joke was on famous Hollywood cinematographer Dick Pope, whose Oscar nomination celebration for Mr. Turner was derailed by a mispronunciation of his name.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science President Cheryl Boone Isaacs mistakenly pronounced Pope’s name”Dick Poop,” sparking tons of jokes on Twitter.

Fortunately Pope was a good sport, and said “You know what, I have been called a lot worse in my time.”
