A botched home invasion in Houston has left Headwreckas Worldwide rapper Tai Carr b.k.a. Doughbeezy injured, but alive after he reportedly shot and killed one of two suspects who had a hand in pistol-whipping his face.

Apparently Doughbeezy was home when two intruders decided to break into his crib.

The incident began around 9:20 pm. Two males approached a family that was arriving home outside of the 2200 block of Roy, near Larkin in Houston.

According to police, the suspects approached the family, with one striking a family friend in the face with his gun, while the other assailant forced the family into their home.

Somehow, someone (reportedly Doughbeezy) got to their car and picked up a gun in self-defense.

Marquez Romero Heckard, 23, was found hiding in a Wendys and  and faces three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated robbery.

The man who was killed has been identified as Kwame Reid, 2o.

Paul Wall later arrived on the scene to check on Doughbeezy’s well-being, telling Fox28, “I definitely see Doughbeezy as a hero for what he did for standing up for his friends, his family and his own life and protecting himself. Thank God we have the gun laws that we do that he was able to have a gun on him to protect himself and his family.”
