Rihanna is no stranger to turning heads no matter where she is, but the pop superstar’s recent showing within her home country of Barbados was definitely special. The “BBHMM” singer paraded through the streets for Kadooment Day in festival garb, culminating the end of the Crop Over celebration in the island nation.
The annual Crop Over festival is the largest such event in Barbados, similar to Carnival in Trinidad and Brazil in scope. It began as a celebration of the end of the harvest season but has evolved to what it’s become today. Costumed performers take to the street and music carrying influences from all across the Caribbean is also featured.
Rihanna was in a curve-hugging two-piece that was adorned with jewels and completed with a festive headpiece. The outfit showed off her toned midriff and the icing on the cake were the black feathers she also wore that matched the head wear.
