The Game was amongst of a handful of celebrities who couldn’t decide on one Halloween costume this year–so he actually dressed up as all the ideas that passed through his head.
Perhaps his most memorable outfit was when he transformed into the “Classic Man” wardrobe of Jidenna, all the way down to the custom-fitted suit fabrics and crimson-tinged hair.
While speaking to HipHopDX Senior Features Writer Ural Garrett, Jidenna admitted that he was hit with a “when-did-I-do-this-photo-shoot” moment for a quick second.
“The Game looked clean as hell,” he said. “I saw the IG and I was like, I actually thought it was myself. I was dressed as the Grinch so that’s definitely not me. First of all, I respect The Game. He’s trailblazed for artists like myself. I appreciate him having living in L.A. myself and knowing what he stands for and what he stood for. I really like all his new work by the way. It was cool. I actually shouted him out today on the show.”
During his most recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Jidenna revealed that he it doesn’t take a lot of money to pull off his look. The person just has to have style, no matter what color you are predominately affiliated with.
“It was good to see a gangsta dressed as a gentlemen because in the history, the last 100 years, those two words, gangster and gentleman, were interchangeable,” he continued.
