Back in April, Barbie announced that Ava DuVernay would be one of six others celebrated with a special-edition doll. Well it didn’t stop there, fans got together to rally for the doll’s commercial release and the company obliged.
You can buy one of DuVernay’s dolls, starting sometime today (Dec. 7). The Selma director announced the news herself via Twitter last night, followed by confirmation from Barbie.
