Today (December 23) was not a good day for King Louie.
The 28-year-old Chicago rap staple was shot in the head in Chicago earlier this afternoon not too far from his own residence.

Chicago rapper King Louie was shot in the head in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday afternoon, his management team confirmed.
The rapper — whose real name is Louis Johnson — was shot while in a vehicle in the 3900 block of West 83rd Street about 3:30 p.m., according to his management and Chicago Police.
Police said he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized.
Several well wishers took to social media to pray for King Louie during his time of need but a few alleged members of Chicago’s Team 600 and LA Gang couldn’t contain their excitement that their rival was near his death bed.
