Muhammad Ali was Black excellence personified. Thanks to his gregarious way with words, unabashed swagger and unparalleled confidence, Hip-Hop readily embraced the three time heavyweight champ.
So it should come as no surprise that Hip-Hop fans and artists are taking the news of his death hard. It’s a loss that stings a bit more consider we just lost Prince not too long ago.
The Greatest may have passed away yesterday (June 3) at 74-years-old, but his legacy will last forever.
