Josh Gordan will not be returning the to NFL anytime soon. The wide receiver remains suspended indefinitely after failing the league’s substance abuse policy multiple times.
Yes, the drug that Gordon couldn’t let go for the sake of collection millions in the NFL was marijuana. However, Gordon has said that is not the case while the drug that got him bounced from the league may actually be alcohol.
But regardless, and right on cue, Twitter took this as an opportune time to let off these weed jokes.

Also, the irony of abusers playing in the NFL while Gordon sits on the sidelines also hasn’t been lost.
