It’s always heartening when Hip-Hop artists do something, anything, to give back to the community from whence they came.
The latest rapper to do so is A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie as he’s partnering with the Garden of Dreams Foundation in conjunction with WHEDco (Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation) for a back to school giveaway this Wednesday, September 20.
At the event, A Boogie won’t just be posing with fans and signing autographs, he’ll also be giving away school necessities such as bookbags, composition books, and lifetime hallway passes. Okay, we made that last one up, but hey, you never know.
Check for A Boogie this Wednesday at Whedco Highbridge in The Bronx, and check for his new album The Bigger Artist, dropping this September 29.
