To kick-off spring break in Texas, Snoop Dogg participated in a one-of-a-kind live performance with indie band Ghostland Observatory for the Red Bull Soundclash on Thursday, March 17th.
Snoop and his band (The Snoopadelics) dedicated the show to Snoop’s very close friend Nate Dogg by creating a unique “musical conversation” with Ghostland Observatory to give 10,000 spring breakers a performance of a lifetime.
For the first round “The Warm Up”, it was only appropriate to perform “The Next Episode” in tribute to the fallen soldier.
Throughout the night Snoop and The Snoopadelics played classic songs like “Ridin’ in My Chevy”, “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, “Sensual Seduction”, “Gin n Juice” (in a reggae format), “La Di Da Di” (in a Funk format), “What’s My Name”, as well as even covering the David Bowie song “Fame” with a funky/hip-hop twist.
