Angela Bassett Playing Dr. Amanada Waller In The Green Lantern
Fans of Angela Bassett will get a chance to see the Oscar nominated actress in a new role next week, as one of the characters in the film adaptation of ‘The Green Lantern.’
The Green Lantern which stars actor Ryan Reynolds as the green clad superhero will hit theaters June 17 2011.
Bassett stars as Dr. Amanda Waller, an enigmatic government scientist determined to uncover the truth about some strange “visitors” in the Martin Campbell directed film.
The film also stars actress Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard (The Man In The Iron Mask) as scientist Dr. Hector Hammond and Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes) as Sinestro.
