Torae bears a gift to the Internets with his latest mixtape, Admission of Guilt. The 13-track project sticks true to the Brooklyn lyricist’s brand of true emceeing over knocking boom-bap beats. ‘Rae Charles tapped industry cohorts like Pharoahe Monch, Skyzoo, Bun B, The Kid Daytona and more for the mixtape.

Skyzoo returns with the second installment of his “Band Practice” series with “Grew Up on Kool-Aid.” The trumpets blow on the symphonic beat, which was produced by the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. Hear the Brooklyn MC kick a few flows below.

Spread love is the Brooklyn way, and Skyzoo employs that mantra on “Spike Lee Was My Hero,” a track commemorating the infamous director’s legacy. Fellow videographer Alex Ghassan manned the camera to create a complimentary set of visuals, featuring scenes, posters, and more from a gamut of the Do the Right Thing director’s filmography.
