Freddie Gibbs joined an infamous list this past week when he was arrested in France on rape charges.
Freddie Gibbs has been sitting in a French jail since June 2 after being arrested for an alleged rape in 2015. He is now fighting extradition to Austria to face the charges.
Freddie Gibbs is overseas and in a world of trouble. The Indiana rapper was arrested in France for allegedly raping someone in Austria in 2015.

In case you forgot, Freddie Gibbs worked with Madlib before Kanye West. The Gary, IN rapper took Yeezy’s “No More Parties In L.A.” and flipped it into “Cocaine Parties In L.A.”
Freddie Gibbs, during an appearance on NPR’s Microphone Check podcast, said he’s lyrically comparable to highly lauded MCs Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. The ESGN spitter didn’t hesitate to release new bars to back his claims, returning today with two new tracks.
Freddie Gibbs is currently firing on all cylinders within the independent circuit and today the world is bearing witness to his blood, sweat and tears with his new album, Shadow of a Doubt.
