Between Master P attempting to revive No Limit Records and talk of Will Smith planning to release a new album, rappers making a comeback seems to be the new trend in Hip-Hop.
Unfortunately, we’re not interested.
Here’s a list of rappers that have fallen off the rap radar, and quite frankly, we prefer it that way.
Hit the number pages to view the lists.
Will Smith
Long before he was Will Smith the Hollywood actor/producer, he was The Fresh Prince, rapper from Philly.
Will Smith is a star, and yes, he’s capable of releasing music and selling a ton of albums. But he’d probably look like a fool doing it.
Master P
Just this week alone, a new Master P song and a new Silkk The Shocker video have made their way to Hip-Hop websites across the internet, fueling speculation of the return of Master P, No Limit Records and a new P. Miller album, Ghetto D2.
At one time, No Limit was on top of Hip-Hop, but that was a long time ago, Percy. Let it go…
Silkk The Shocker
You too, Silkk The Shocker… (See Master P).
Jaz-O
In rap history books, Jaz-O is credited as the rapper that put Jay-Z in the game. But that still doesn’t give him the right to rap over “Otis” or put out a new mixtape in 2011.

Naughty By Nature
The biggest song of their career, “O.P.P.,” was released in 1992. Their newest song was released in 2011.
But no one born after 1992 cares…or before 1992, for that matter.
Shyne
So people were screaming “Free Shyne” for 10 years, just for him to get out, release a couple wack songs, get deported to Brazil, then move to Jerusalem and find God?
Oh, yeah, he’s still rapping too.
Charles Hamilton
At one time, rapper/producer Charles Hamilton looked to have a bright future ahead of him, but this chick slapped the career out of him before he even had a chance to capitalize on his potential.
DMX
As much as we want to see DMX win again, we don’t want to hear him rap.
Yung Joc
We haven’t heard much from Yung Joc lately, but it’s hard to notice when you have a Yung Chris…Young Chris…Yung L.A…Young Ralph….Young [Insert Rap Name Here]…
Lil Mama
The last time we saw Lil Mama she was crying her eyes out on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. She did mention that she has new music on the way, but is anyone really checking for Lil Mama?
At least she has America’s Best Dance Crew.
Bow Bow
It’s been a few years since Bow Wow released an album, but don’t fret, Bow has a new album called Underrated coming soon on Cash Money.
Do Birdman and Lil Wayne even know Bow Wow is supposedly signed to Cash Money?
Bow Wow might just want to stick with acting.
