Hip-Hop Wired continues our weekly countdown of the best of 2012 in this week’s Wired 25.
In today’s day and age, Hip-Hop is as digital as it has ever been. With that has come their obsession with vlog and staying viral. With the internet being the way of the masses now, there is more content and footage from your favorite rappers on the internet than can ever be conveyed through printed pages.

1. Calicoe vs. Loaded Lux at URL’s Summer Madness 2012
This video from Webster Hall in New York City single-handedly put battle rap back on the map in 2012. “You gon’ get this work” became a part of the Hip-Hop vernacular as Loaded Lux came appropriately dressed for a funeral. Look at us king, Loaded Lux destroyed hopes and dreams while breaking down Calicoe’s family and destructive path of most black men. It was nothing short of brilliant.
