Every year, part of the fun of any Super Bowl, unless you are actually in attendance, is watching the commercials. Well except for this year’s Super Bowl XLVII thanks to the superstar theatrics of one Beyoncé. Nevertheless, most of the night’s aforementioned multi-million dollar costing ads fell into the “meh” category, but there are always standouts.
Some of the best of 2013 included a spot from Oreo cookies that involved straight madness in the library, Doritos and an out of pocket goat and a ketchup stain in the likeness of one Joe Montana. However, some of our favorite spots, at least for us guys, were the trailers for superhero and science fiction flicks. Iron Man 3 is looking like it’s going to be another winner in the franchise, Johnny Depp as Tonto in The Long Ranger shows promise and Star Trek Into Darkness appears like it’s going to be nothing but cinematic goodness.
Here are our picks for the top 10 Super Bowl ads, and trailers, in no particular order. Let us know your personal favorites, or who you think should have been included, in the comments.

Iron Man 3
Will Iron Man be able to save 13 people that just got ejected from an airplane? Don’t bet against him. Extended trailer below.
Tide – Joe Montana Miracle Stain
Joe Montana as a ketchup stain. We are all witnesses. But, the Ravens won.
The Lone Ranger
We’re suckers for OG superheros, and Captain Jack Sparrow as Tonto will be entertaining, right?
Oreo – Whisper Fight
Do you prefer the cream or cookie side? Either way, you just may catch the fade, quietly.
Budweiser – Clydesdales Brotherhood
Hey, Clydesdales commercials never get old, even if this one was hella sappy.
Doritos – Goat 4 Sale
All we’re saying is; curry goat is delicious.
Star Trek Into Darkness
Star Trek and J.J. Abrams, a hell of a combination.
Taco Bell – Viva Young
Fun.’s “We Are Young” for the geriatric set. Who translated this, though?
Dodge – God Made A Farmer
The sincerity is lost since this is essentially a commercial saying “God said buy a Dodge Ram,” but still an excellent spot. Shout out to the one Black farmer.
Audi – Prom
Going to the promo solo dolo is technically a fail, but son went out like a champ.
Fast & Furious 6
This makes 11 but we found Ludacris saying, “They got a tank,” to be hilarious.
