Azealia Banks wants the world to know a couple things about A$AP Rocky: his comments about dark-skinned women and red lipstick were “hurtful,” and he’s in the closet.
Twitter jabs are amazing.
Miss Banks went online to throw a few shots at Rocky over an interview with The Coveteur, in which he said that wearing red lipstick “depends on the pair of complexion.”
The fellow Harlem native started out by accusing the “F—in’ Problems” rapper of being gay. “Some people should just come out of the closet.”
Rocky has dealt with rumors about his s*xuality before. Most of the assumptions stem from his eclectic fashion sense, which has included wearing what looked like a dress (that was really just a long shirt?); but Banks turned herself into a target for the Tweet, forcing her to explain the root of the problem. “That comment was so hurtful. Like hurtful beyond measure. Coming from him especially…… It made me cry. It did.”
Rocky hasn’t yet responded.
