Azealia Banks is working on her own timetable. Although she has yet to drop her proper debut, Broke With Expensive Taste, today she released a new song called “Count Contessa,” which is the lead single to her sophomore album. You keeping up?
Produced by Lone, “Count Contessa” features a uptempo, dance friendly finds that Harlem native fiddling with an off-kilter, stuttering flow (check out the lyrics on the next page). The name of Banks’ sophomore album is Fantasea II: The Second Wave and it is due out July 11, 2014. You can count on that changing, though.
According to Banks, the next single from Broke With Expensive Taste (she recently revealed the project’s tracklist) will be “SODA” produced by SCNTST.
